Field of Play Park

The vert ramp is the largest in Europe.

Format & Scoring

• Round 1 – 2 X 30 second run
• Maximum of 8 skateboarders per heat.
• Time does not stop if the skateboarder falls.
• Each run is scored out of a possible 100 points.

• 3 X 30 second runs.
• Maximum of 8 skateboarders per heat.
• Time stops if the skateboarder falls.
• Each run is scored out of a possible 100 points.
• Breaking Ties – When a tie score for two or more skateboarders appears, the below process is used to break it:
• The score of the second-highest run decides the tie-break. – If the tie is not broken, the jury votes to break the tie.
• Each judge has one vote.
• The Head Judge records the voting process and breaks the tie in the final results and rankings.

Judging Criteria

The Judges will evaluate the each run using the criteria below to give an overall impression.
Criteria:

1 – Difficulty of Tricks
Judges consider how technically challenging each trick is, including the obstacle it’s performed on.

2 – Variety of Tricks
A broader range of tricks, especially with consistent or increasing difficulty, creates a stronger overall impression.

3 – Execution & Landing
Tricks are judged on style, speed, control, and smoothness from start to finish with special focus on clean landings.

4 – Use of Ramp
Skaters are rewarded for creative, efficient use of the entire course. Unique lines and trick combinations across varied obstacles score higher.

5 – Consistency
Landing tricks throughout the full run without falling is key. Incomplete or unsteady runs lower overall scores.

6 – Flow
Judges look for smooth, continuous movement and clean connections between tricks. Stepping off disrupts flow.

7 – Repetition
Repeating tricks or overusing the same obstacle will reduce the score. Creativity and diversity are rewarded.

Equal prize money will be awarded to the Open Men and Women.

Product Prizes

Helmets is mandatory for all skateboarders to wear a helmet, and everyone in Park discipline must wear a helmet at all times. Failure to do so will result in immediate disqualification.

Media There will be various media at the event throughout the weekend, and you may be asked to conduct interviews/shoot photos and video with some journalists, photographers and videographers. No offensive clothing to be worn.

Strictly no alcohol on the field of play
